Yari Bonilla
Yari, born in Peru, has been guiding ceremonies since 2014, with a focus on native medicine plants and sustainability. His major arrow leads to the Wachuma cactus, and he walks the bridge between two continents, South America and Europe, analysing how the calendar wheels align and complement one another.
From a young age, he has been expressing the full cycle of a simple existence via gardening, growing a fruit forest, natural building, raising his daughters, co-creating a community, and studying the wisdom of his homeland's elders.
Paula Katharina
Paula is a student of nature, its songs and its memory, as well as a ceremonialist, walking her prayer of simplicity and preparing the ground for varied seeds of joy to sprout.
She lives a simple life in a community in southern Portugal, where she built her own home. In addition to tending to vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and a natural forest, she is an artist, alchemist, musician, painter, and composer of her own songs.
The Facilitators
Who is this for?
Seekers for authentic expression
In this journey to our essence, we go within ourselves to extract what is most natural, what stems from our interactions with all forms of creation, including ourselves, in order to create medicine in the form of music and song.
Musicians and non-musicians a-like
This journey is about art, creation, play, and exploration. However, there is tremendous healing taking place as a result of awakening one's voice and expression, as well as the ability to create and share.
Those drawn to master plants and nature’s wisdom
Song Quest is designed as an initiation for both musicians and non-musicians. Here, we strive for authenticity rather than technical skills, and the workshops are broken down into skill levels.
Anyone eager to awaken and discover their voice
In order to relate harmoniously with these great spirits, we honour the ancient ways of ancestors worldwide by sharing extensively this week about the various uses of plant spirits as medicines, master plants, and oracles.
